"The world is seperated into three categories. The darkness outside, the darkness within and ourselves. And we are trapped between them."

Quick Photoshop, pretty simple to do though. Tried to avoid over the top texturing this time.

And I used a beautiful stock by inside me [link]

*EDIT: Redid the entire thing, I wasnt realy very please with it before. And to tell the truth im still not, anyone got any constructive comments?

Oooh, She looks like a mannequin. Those eyes are beautiful. No critique to give. I like it the way it is.

I really like this, but the only thing I would have changed is the lips. To me they look just painted, and kinda take away from the dark quality. I would say try using a dark red, or more neutral color. Everything else is great tho, I love the contrast of the eyes, and the design on her face. nice work

I agree that something isn’t quite working here, unfortunately I have no solid idea exactly why thatt is. Perhaps it’s simply the eyes – the fact that one is white and one is black kind of throws it out of wack for me, perhaps just adds a bit too much complexity to the image. You probably have tried it but if not it might be worth instead trying it with either both eyes black or both eyes white. I like the effect you’ve used around the white eye, looks like it’s been burnt or gouged out. If both where white it might create the impression of this as a mask which could be cool. But if both were black I think you’d get a more solid and steady image, perhaps less interesting but then what you’ve already got going on in the image is great on its own.

Anyway enough about eyes, I think it’s refreshing to see a face not covered in texture…however I actually think you need a bit more here. The tattoo on her face is excellent but I think if you added a bit of rough texturing to it you’d make it more realistic, at present it seems a tad too smooth.

I also think that perhaps the image is a tad too complex, which I touched on with the eyes. Maybe you need to restrict the colours a bit more – the yellows and reds are great in this image but then the blue lips and the green smudge on her finger are perhaps distracting and confusing. I’m thinking if you changed these to red/yellow/orange too then you’d get a less complex and confusing image.

Anyway, that’s about all I can think of in the way of suggestions. I think overall it’s well done – the whited out eye and the tattoo you’ve created are particularly successful. :)
